(first bicycle trip of our team).
Trip code: V0002 №1
Route: Chernyakhovsk-Kaliningrad, distance more than 100 km.
Participants: Dmitry Logunov (2:478/55), Sergey Mezenov (2:478/55.3), Sergey Shkinder (2:478/55.5), Oleg Yakovenko (2:478/55.14). All from Fidonet.
Also begins with this moment a history of a team. All 4 participants of this bicycle trip are considered as its founders.
Initially team was only from Fidonet, and all trips were organized in an echoconferences of a computer network Fidonet. Gradually to a team began to join and usual people (not from Fidonet), but till now overwhelming majority of the members of a team have the address in a Fido network. FTN-address actually is a personal code of the member of a team.
May 1 2001. Was held the first trip with photos, report and map (V0101 №2).
Route: Gvardeysk-Pravdinsk-Bagrationovsk-Kaliningrad, 117 km.
Participants: Dmitry Logunov (/55), Sergey Mezenov (/55.3), Sergey Shkinder (/55.5)(author of the report).

August 2001.
Sergey Mezenov (/55.3) and Oleg Yakovenko (/64) with the financial help
by Dmitry Logunov (/55) have constructed a tandem. He was assembled for
3 days and 2 night from two welded frames from the Tourist and Sputnik.
In very first test drive from a garage community Oka-2 (Baltic district
of Kaliningrad) to Nivenskoye the tandem controlled by /64 and /55.3 has
shown average speed of 31 kmh. The tandem was lead up to mind somewhere
in one half-year, when all old and unreliable equipment was replaced better.

September 17 2001. Sergey Mezenov (/67) has created Fidonet echoconference KOENIG.BICYCLE. Sergey Mezenov (/67) and Eugene Malov (/68) became the moderator and comoderator accordingly.
September 23 2001. Sergey Mezenov (/67) has established daily distance record of a team - 210.59 kms. Route: Kaliningrad-Chernyakhovsk-Kaliningrad with a fare through Znamensk and Gvardeysk on a return way. Average speed: 19.64 kmh. A bicycle: Lincoln, usual bike 26". First half of way was passed under a down-pour rain at temperature not above +15°C. The price of a record was too high. After that /67 could not go by a bicycle on the large distances during several months because of illness of knee joints.
August 2-5 2002. The first bicycle campaign i.e. multiday time
trip (V0214 №26 П№1 "Zelenogradsk-Morskoye-Juodkrante-Klajpeda-Sovetsk") was held.
Participants: Alena Vankova (/37.7), Oleg Yakovenko (/55.14), Sergey Zdorov (/60.51),
Oleg Tumanov (/60.54), Sergey Mezenov (/67), Dmitry Paseka (/67.8). For /60.51
and /60.54 it there was in general very first trip in our team.

January 11 2003. Was held the first ice bicycle trip to Green islands
in the Kaliningrad gulf (V0302 №34).
Participants: Gleb Gatsura (/53), Sergey Mezenov (/67)

April 16 2003. Gleb Gatsura (/53) and Sergey Mezenov (/67)
have achieved on bikes of the most western point of Russia
(V0307 №39 "on the most western point of Russia").
This point is at sea coast Baltic kosa on Russian-Polish border.

May 11 2003. Dmitry Paseka (/67.8) has driven 220 km and has beaten a record by Sergey Mezenov (/67). Route: Chernyakhovsk-Ozersk- Vishtynetskoye lake (where /67.8 has met the participants of a campaign V0310 №42 П№5 "Sovetsk-Neman-Krasnoznamensk-Nesterov-Vishtynetskoye lake-Gusev-Chernyakhovsk") -Gusev-Chernyakhovsk. The route was passed on a hybrid Panther with average speed of 22 kmh
June 8 2003. The first trip to Poland (V0312 №44
"Chernyakhovsk-Ozersk-Goldap-Suczki-Gusev-Chernyakhovsk") was held. Participants:
Sergey Lyulko (/55.69), Sergey Mezenov (/67), Dmitry Paseka (/67.8).

July 18 2003. The first trip with the foreign bicycle tourists
(V0316 №48 "Kaliningrad-Rybachy-Uzkoye lake-Kaliningrad") was held. Participants:
Oleg Yakovenko (/44.64), Sergey Mezenov (/67), Lenka Kosohorska, Barbora Motlova,
Alena Nedvedova, Jan Neubauer, Marek Nohejl, Katerina Polakova,
Miroslav Prokesh, Lumir Rezek, Jitka Psotova, Martin Robesh, Eva Stejskalova,
Hana Vetcha, Marketa Willova, Martin Zeman, Petra Zhabkova,
Katja Lunau, Alfons Ritzer, Geert, Dorien, Abbo Santema (Czechs, Germans, Dutchs).
Initially it was formulated as "to drive from morning on a tandem by the sea
and back and to meet the tourists". In a result /44.64 and /67 have joined
the international bicycle trip
and they have reached towns Bialovierza, which is in Poland, near
the Byelorussian border.

December 12-14 2003. The first winter bicycle campaign (V0326 №56 П№12
"Kaliningrad-Baltiysk(Kosa)-Lesnoy-Kaliningrad") was held. Participants: Sergey Mezenov (/67), Alexander Anisimoff (/89).

March 4 2004. In the Internet the official site of Koenig.Bicycle Team has appeared. The author - Sergey Mezenov (/67), technical support - Alexander Volkov (/40) and Dmitry Logunov (/55).
